Mayuge and seven of its rural sub-counties joined the NAADS programme in 2007/08. Sub-county coverage was 100% though Malongo and Mayuge Town Council had minimum interventions.

Objective of the District Presentation:
- Examining progress and achievements from activities so far implemented under each of the six program components including cross-cutting issues;
- Documenting lessons learned experiences, challenges and way forward to implementation.
- To enhance commercialization of farms through supporting various farmer types (Model, Demonstration and Nucleus)
- To increase farm income through integration of production, post harvest, value addition and agro-processing,
- To increase farm household food security
- To contribute to the PFA objectives
