Mobilization for Higher Level Farmer Organizations for joint marketing and procurement of farm inputs –being undertaken by office of commercial officer
Enterprise selection and enterprise mix institutionalized and 14 different profitable enterprises selected by farmer groups
Linkage of ISFG farmer groups to financial institutions-SACCOs
Poultry farmers are being linked to Nucleus farmer for marketing of their eggs

Quality Assurance:

One progressive technical audit carried out by technical audit team
Technical evaluation of frontline extension workers
Inspection and certification of technology supplies by subject matter specialists

Private Sector Institutional Development for Advisory Services

Organized one study tour for both Public and Private Extension Workers on pineapple production.

Program Management and Monitoring

Support to farmer institutions (e.g. farmer groups and farmer for a) through capacity building)
Integration of NAADS work plans into the district and Sub-County development plans
All Sub-County reviews held except for Malongo Sub-County
Sub-County quarterly monitoring by all stakeholders
Special Political monitoring team facilitated to monitor NAADS activities
Three constituency meetings held and priorities for each constituency identified which include; Poultry (Layers) for Bunya West, Bananas for Bunya East and Goats for Bunya South.
Capacity development – Dissemination of new physical progressive format to NAADS Coordinators, CDOs, SASs & Frontline extension workers
Assignment of new NAADS Coordinator to coordinate NAADS activities in Town Council
Facilitation of technical team (SMS) to carry out technical back-stopping at Sub-Counties during enterprise selection
Indicative prices for technology inputs in place to guide farmers during procurement.
Facilitation of District Production Committee to carry out special monitoring of NAADS activities in seven lower local governments
Quarterly financial audit carried out.
